How Does it Work?

Team Captains

  • Ensure your scales are zeroed and calibrated correctly before each biweekly weigh in
  • Record weights of both staff and consumers
  • With the help of other staff in your home, record consumer “Fitness Point” activities
  • Record all “Alex Motivator Challenge” points by both staff and consumers
  • Report all staff and consumer scores to Event Leader after each milestone
  • Assist running the Field Day event at the end of Waist Watchers

All Participants

  • Ensure you are exercising, practicing proper nutrition, and lose weight MINDFULLY. Excessive practices should not be encouraged. Things like running with a garbage bag, skipping meals, or other unsafe exercises should not be considered.
  • Be positive about the event and encourage others. Remember, this is about teamwork and creating healthy practices above all!
  • Notify Event Leader with any issues or concerns.
  • Weigh in biweekly with your Team Captain
  • Staff reporting is voluntary and on an honor system. If staff complete “Motivator Challenges” on their own time they can report to their Team Captain
  • Assist Team Captain with recording consumer scores, especially tracking community outings and other “Fitness Point” activities

Event Leader Will…

  • Collect biweekly scores and weights from each team
  • manage the program from Kickoff to Trophies
  • Create and execute weekly fitness and nutrition class activities for all; visiting homes upon request for classes or workout sessions
  • Provide communications biweekly to all staff
  • Maintain our leaderboard
  • Finish off the challenge with a Field Day event to coincide with our final weigh ins
