HR Director

The Human Resource Director position is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all HR functions at Community Living Options. The role involves leading and supporting the HR team in managing key areas such as recruitment, payroll, benefits, compensation strategy, employee relations, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Specific responsibilities include:
•Supervising and managing the HR team to ensure efficient department operations.
•Developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
•Managing HR information systems and timekeeping to maintain accurate employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
•Providing expert advice on employee management issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee relations counseling.
•Overseeing recruitment and selection processes, with a focus on promoting diversity and supporting career growth, to attract and retain top talent.
•Coordinating safety programs and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations to foster a safe working environment.
•Assisting the CEO with special projects, such as insurance renewals and board requests.
The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least 5 years of management experience and have a current HR certification.

Transitional Support Specialist $18.51 per hour

Calm, dependable, caring, and compassionate individuals to provide direct care to individuals with disabilities in the Intensive/Transitional Support Program. This position supports and assists adults with a developmental disability and/or mental illness in the Intensive/Transitional Support Program. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans and behavior management plans as established by an interdisciplinary team. Responsible for modeling appropriate behavior; monitoring, observation, and assessment; crisis intervention, prevention, and utilizing de-escalation strategies; and maintaining a healthy and safe environment. Additional support may include assisting in personal care and guiding skill development in daily tasks of living. Responsible for respecting the rights and dignities of the individuals we serve. Position requires patience, critical thinking skills and decision-making ability.

Direct Support Professional $17.18 per hour/ Traditional Setting

Enthusiastic, dependable, caring, and compassionate individuals to provide direct care to adult individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental illness. This position supports and assists individuals with daily tasks of living that can include medication administration, health and safety, maintaining hygiene, cleaning, meal preparation, and wellness in residential settings. Responsible for respecting the rights and dignities of the individuals served. Full Time, Part-Time, Weekend, and Relief Shifts available to start your Career in Direct Care. High school diploma or equivalent, valid drivers license, and safe driving record required.  Experience and/or education in related field preferred but not required.
